ISLAMABAD: Capital Police Officer (CPO) headquarters Awais Ahmed Malik on Saturday hoisted the national flag at Shifa International Hospital here in connection with the 76th Independence Day of Pakistan. Senior officers, doctors, security staff and other staff of the Hospital were also present on the occasion and presented salute. Addressing the ceremony, CPO Awais said “Our forefathers made great sacrifices for the creation of an independent homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent, and now we must play our role for the development of the country.” He urged the participants to work hard with honesty and dedication for the progress of the country.
