PESHAWAR: Special preparations have been made to celebrate Independence Day with the valuable people of Trans Peshawar, a spokeswoman of the Trans Peshawar told media men here on Sunday. Buses and stations are decorated with beautiful flags and lights on Jashn-e-Azadi, Miss Sadaf Kamil, the spokeswoman of the Trans Peshawar added. Two BRT buses have been specially decorated with green crescent flags, Spokeswomen Trans Peshawar said. Both the buses will remain operational within the corridor and on various feeder routes for a week, she added. The buses have been decorated inside and outside on the occasion of Independence Day. BRT stations are also decorated inside and outside, Miss Sadaf said. Face painting, balloons, and other activities are specially organized for children at the stations, the spokeswoman of the Trans Peshawar disclosed. The Zoo Bicycle Stand is also specially decorated with flags and lights, she said. Special arrangement of songs and tunes found on stationary sound systems, she said, adding, “Children are enjoying their dances on the national songs and tunes.” APP
