Social welfare, Ayesha foundation mark Independence Day

Celebrating the 76th Independence day of Pakistan, the social welfare department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in collaboration with Ayesha Foundation organized an event at Special Education Complex Hayatabad Peshawar.
Secretary social welfare department Zia ul Haq participated as chief guest in the function while Director Special Education Complex Said Ali Bakhsh, deputy director Muhammad Rozwan, Chairperson Aysha Foundation Taiba Batool, Rubina Sarwar Khan of Umeed Special School, Zil e Huma and Waseem of ARDP and other were also present on the occasion.
The secretary hoisted Pakistan flag in the complex while the event was formally started from the recitation of Holy Quran. The special children presented different tabloids, sang national songs and alot of others which were enjoyed by the participants and appreciated.
Addressing on the occasion Zia ul Haq said that for the independence our forefathers rendered most sacrifices which will be remember and written in golden words.
He added that it is our prime responsibility to play a vital role in reducing of Pakistan’s social, economic , political , law and order situation and other challenges. He maintained that we all must come forward to put the country on right and developmental path.
Appreciating the spcial children’s performance, he said that special children are also very talented and can perform well for Pakistan development and prosperity.
At the end of the function, the secretary and other guest cut the independence cake.
