Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP), under the leadership of Founder and Chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah, has taken a proactive step to address a critical issue affecting Pakistan’s younger generation. ATP has written a formal letter to Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman, Chairman of the PTA, expressing concerns about the negative impact of night bundle internet offers on the youth.
In the letter addressed to Chairman Hafeez Ur Rehman, Muhammad Faiq Shah, the Founder and Chairman of ATP, highlighted the alarming trend where affordable night bundle internet packages have led many young individuals to stay awake throughout the night, engaging in non-productive online activities. This disruptive pattern has adverse consequences on their sleep schedules, physical health, and academic performance.
Muhammad Faiq Shah emphasized the importance of prioritizing the well-being and future prospects of Pakistan’s youth. While acknowledging the significance of internet access as a fundamental right, he also stressed the necessity to consider the unintended consequences of these cheap internet packages. The Chairman of ATP urged Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman to direct all mobile operators to discontinue the provision of night bundle offers and cost-effective internet packages that contribute to this detrimental trend.
ATP, as an organization dedicated to identifying key issues facing Pakistan, creating awareness, and reaching out to relevant authorities to address problems in their respective domains, believes that a bright future for the nation’s younger generation is imperative. The letter to the Chairman of PTA is part of ATP’s mission to collaborate with government bodies to ensure responsible and productive use of technology among the youth.
