Sharqi Police held three members of street crime

Sharqi Police Station on Wednesday claimed to have arrested three members of a street crime gang.
According to a handout, the arrest was made on the special instructions of SP Cantt Division Waqas Rafiq. The statement said that the operation was conducted under the supervision of DSP Cantt Haroon Jadoon Khan, SHO Sharqi Muhammad Asif Khan.
During the operation, three suspects were arrested after tracking down a group involved in robbery of citizens including mobile snatching, robberies on Khyber Road and adjoining areas.The arrested persons have been identified as Zeeshan, Hassan and Farid, who were wanted to police in different cases of street crime, said police.
Mobile phones and the motorcycle used in the incidents and two pistols have also been recovered from the possessions of the arrested persons.
Important and sensational revelations are expected from the accused during the investigation. According to the details, Afaq son of Muhammad Pervez had reported to the Sharqi Police Station about the theft of the mobile phone against the unknown suspects, on the basis of which a case was registered and the investigation was started. 
SP Cantt Waqqas Rafiq took strict notice of the incident and formed a special team consisting of SHO Muhammad Asif Khan and investigation officers under the supervision of DSP Cantt Haroon Jadoon to trace and arrest the accused.
SHO Muhammad Asif and investigation officers started the investigation on modern scientific lines and obtained the footage of CCTV cameras including the investigation involving several criminals and suspicious persons, during which dangerous robbers, gangs were arrested.
On identification of the accused, 24 mobile phones taken from theirpossession and the motorcycle and weapons used in the incidents were also recovered.
