LAHORE: The home department of Punjab on Tuesday called Pakistan Army to provide security in 10 districts of the province, including Lahore, on the occasion of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA). The army would be used as a third tier for the purpose. The department also gave the power to impose section 144 in districts to their deputy commissioners (DCs).
