Higher Education Department Completes Successful Monitoring Drive

The Higher Education Department (HED) has successfully concluded its dedicated week-long special monitoring drive, carried out from September 1st to 10th, 2023, in significant regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), including Peshawar, Malakand, Hazara, and Southern Districts.
During this initiative, special monitoring teams, comprised of officers from various departments, conducted daily visits to both male and female colleges across diverse districts. A total of 75 colleges underwent meticulous assessments, with 17 in Malakand, Peshawar, and Southern regions each, and 14 in Hazara.
The resulting reports from these visits presented an overall picture of satisfaction while also highlighting major and minor concerns. A comprehensive report has been submitted to higher authorities, and a high-level meeting is being planned to devise strategic solutions based on the findings.
Under the esteemed guidance of the Secretary of the Higher Education Department and the capable leadership of Syed Mazhar Ali Shah, Additional Secretary of Colleges, the mission aimed to address challenges faced by educational institutions.
It also focused on assessing operational quality, scrutinizing attendance, and improving security arrangements. Furthermore, there was a significant emphasis on optimizing the ongoing online admissions campaign to maximize student enrollment.
The success of this commendable initiative can be attributed to the personal commitment of the esteemed Secretary of the Higher Education Department, the able leadership of Syed Mazhar Ali Shah, Additional Secretary of Colleges, and the unwavering dedication of key officers within the HED.
