Pakistani Ambassador to Azerbaijan Bilal Hai has said that there is a strong relationship of friendship and brotherhood between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, now it is our responsibility to play our role in making this relationship stronger and sustainable.
He was talking to a delegation of visiting Pakistani sports journalists who called on him at his Office in Baku City of Azerbaijan. Pakistani ambassador Bilal Hai said that the visit of the sports journalists would definitely be a way to enlighten the youth about culture and traditions along with the sports between the two countries. He said such visits are very vital for strengthening good and sustainable relationships between the two countries – Pakistan and Azerbaijan. He said that the role of sports journalism is very important for the promotion of sports, which takes responsibility by raising voice to highlight the problems faced by sports and players.
He said that the game of cricket is a popular sport while wrestling and martial arts sports are popular in Azerbaijan. He said that there is a strong bond of brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Pakistan now that it is our responsibility to make this relationship stronger and sustainable.
Play your role, he advises the visiting journalists from who are members of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Writers Association. He said we are trying to play our full role in encouraging business activities and contacts between the people of the two countries.
It should be noted that the young sports journalists are on a training trip organized by the Pakistan Sports Writers Federation, Sports Writers Association, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Azerbaijan Sports Journalists Association in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, where they are participating in the Digital Sports Journalism Training. All the participants visited Baku on their own expenses.
