SP City says 58 kg of ice recovered from a factory

Ice factory busted in Peshawar, two held

On the instructions of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a special crackdown by the police against drugs in Peshawar has been launched.
According to SP City Abdul Salam Khalid, police team raided the ice factory inside the house in Bhana Mari and recovered over 58 kg of ice.
He told the reporters that used to supply ice to foreign countries including Pakistan. During the operation police claimed to have arrested two suspects of the drug gang.
The police registered a case against the accused and formed special teams to arrest other members of the gang.
The arrested persons have been identified as Noor Khan and Taj Muhammad, one of whom is belongs to Afghanistan.
Police said that it the biggest operation in the history of aforementioned police station.
During the raid more than 58 kg of ice, sealing machine used in making ice, digital scale, drum, plastic bags and other various tools and items were also recovered from the factory.
