Dr Fitrat Buneri defended his PhD thesis titled “Pashtun identity in the Pashto Poetry of 21st century (An Analytical Study) ”.
He completed his PhD thesis under the supervision of Dr Sheer Zaman Semab of Pashto Academy, University of Peshawar (UoP).
Dr Zafarullah Bashkhali, Chairman Department of Pashto, Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) was his external examiner for the aforementioned research thesis.
Prof Dr Nasrullah Jan Wazir, Director Pashto Academy , Prof Dr Rokhullah, Chairman Pashto Department UoP were also present and spoke on the occasion.
Students, faculty members and research scholars attended the event held at Pashto Academy here on Thursday.
An interesting question-answer session was followed by presentation, the outlines, and significance of her thesis.
Dr Fitrat successfully responded to queries of his teachers, examiners and other participants.
