Compulsory teaching of Pashto language is the responsibility of the Education Department: Ejaz

Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) leader, Ejaz Hoti advocate said that the compulsory teaching of Pashto and local mother tongues is the responsibility of the education department in case of failure, the High Court will be approached. He expressed these views while talking to the media at his chamber at district courts. Ejaz Hoti said that the government’s decision that Pashto and other regional mother tongues will be taught as a compulsory subject in schools is a good move, which is in accordance with the Constitution of Pakistan and the United Nations resolution. He argued that now it is the responsibility of authorities of the education department to implement it.
He argued that no delaying tactics will be tolerated in this regard. He further said that all the schools will be visited with a regular program and team and information about such measures will be taken and against any kind of lapses there will be a massive public protest as well as approach to the High Courts. Party office bearers Shahabullah , Afzal Hayat, Iftikhar Ali – Sajjad Ali, Shahab Khan, Karimullah, Zia Khan, Abdullah, Adil Khan, Afsar Khan and others were also present on this occasion.
