PESHAWAR: The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Saturday released two billion rupees for the health card for the restoration the health card service in different hospitals across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Riaz Anwar Health Advisor told media men. Dr. Riaz Anwar said that further reforms would be made in the health card service and administrative deficiencies will be removed. Health Card service was closed due to lack of funds but now with the release of the two billion grants, the health Card service has been restored, Health Advisor Dr Riaz Anwar said. Funds were released on the special instructions of Chief Minister Azam Khan, he informed the media. A ban was imposed on unnecessary development works in MTI hospitals, the Health Advisor said. He said that MTIs hospitals focus on the treatment of patients. Instead of building new buildings in hospitals, they will focus on patient care and facilities, the Health Advisor Dr. Riaz Anwar said while answering a question. APP
