Majid Satti murder case
RAWALPINDI: Additional District and Sessions Judge has awarded life imprisonment to Farrukh Khokhar , major accused in Majid Satti murder case. As per media report, Additional district and sessions judge Afshan Ijaz Sufi announced the decision. Farrukh Khokhar was arrested from court room and he was handcuffed. The court ordered to send Farrukh Khokhar to jail under stringent security. Farrukh Khokhar who is son of the prominent politician late Taji Khokhar was arrested from court room following the announcement of punishment. The detailed judgment of Majid Satti murder case was issued. The prime accused Farrukh Taji Khokhar, accused Amir Hamza and Haider Nawaz were awarded life imprisonment and fined Rs 10 lack each. All the accused persons were shifted to Adiala jail. The prime accused Farrukh Khokhar said he has been awarded wrong punishment as he was not present on the scene. Lawyers will challenge the sentence. The accused are charged with murdering Majid Satti mercilessly on August 23, 2022. Sadiq Abad police had registered murder case. Farrukh Khokhar had resigned from PPP and joined JUI-F. Online
