MDCAT KP to be conducted by KMU on Sunday

PESHAWAR: The Government of Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar High Court and PMDC have given the task to Khyber Medical University of reconducting the MDCAT examination which will be held on November 26 (Sunday) in two cities of the province. All arrangements have been completed for the entrance test for admission to the public and private medical and dental colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, simultaneously, said the spokesman on Tuesday. Necessary help has been taken from the Police, FIA, intelligence Bureau and other security agencies for transparent conduction of the examination. VC Professor Dr. Zia Ul Haq said that a total 46,439 candidates have registered to participate in the test in which the registration of 219 have been blaclisted on using of unfair means in ETEA test.
Parents are advised to avoid any illegal approach and do not ruin the future of their children. He said that full arrangements have been made for the fair and transparent conduct of the test. Details instruction will be issued soon. He said that walk-through gates, signal jammers and metal detector will be installed at the entry points of all the centers and full body search of the candidates wil be done. He further said that zero tolerance policy will be followed for any unfair means including carrying mobile phones and other electronic devices to the hall and all arrangements have been made for this purpose. Prof Dr. Zia warned that any candidate caught with any electronic accessories or any unfair means in the examination hall will be handed over to the police. He added that an FIR will be logged against them and paper will be automatically canceled, their accessories will be confiscated and will be banned from future tests. APP
