ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has rejected review petitions of defence ministry and IB during the hearing of review petitions against decision of Faizabad Dharna case. The petitions were dismissed being withdrawn. The court while rejecting fact finding committee of federal government proposed to constitute inquiry committee to hold responsible in Faizabad Dharna case. Attorney General assured to inform the court within two days on the constitution of inquiry commission. The court rejected implementation report of Election Commission (EC) regarding action against Tehreek-e-Labaik. SC has said in its order Absar Alam leveled allegations against some persons. If government constitutes some commission then all the allegations be put up before commission. Absar Alam has said he will record statement before commission openly. A 3-member bench of SC presided over by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa took up the case for hearing. Online
