Chief Secretary KP XI handing a shocking defeated to PPC XI in Exhibition Match

Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa XI handed a shocking defeat to President Peshawar Press Club XI by 47 runs in an exhibition match played here at Karnal Sher Khan Army Stadium on Thursday.
The Exhibition match was part of the ongoing RMI Media Cricket League in which the Chief Secretary’s team performed well and won by 47 runs. Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Naveed Aslam Chaudhary won the toss and decided to bat first. The team setup a target of 89 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in the allotted overs.
In response, Peshawar Press Club XI managed to score 42 runs. On this occasion, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and Public Relations Feroz Jamal Shah Kakakhel was the special guest. He also performed the duties of refereeing during the match.
DG Information Muhammad Imran Khan, Chief Operating Officer Col. Tariq, HoD Marketing Faizan Qureshi and a large number of senior provincial officers and senior journalists were present. Team Captain Nadeem Aslam Chaudhary, Additional Chief Secretary Imtiaz Hussain Shah, Secretary Establishment Manzoor Ahmed, Shahidullah, Mian Adil Iqbal, Adil Safi, Fayyaz Ali Shah, Shahid Ali, Haider Zaman, Qaiser Khan, Abdul Nasir, Khalid Khan, Khalid Zaman, Arshad Aziz Malik were included while Peshawar Press Club team included Captain Shamim Shahid, M Riaz, Saiful Islam Safi, Nader Khawja, Farman Lala, Abdul Quddus, Faridullah, Sabir Aman, Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Waqas Shah, Shahzad Ahmed.
Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry also participated in the match. Batting first, Chief Secretary XI scored 89 runs. Nasir stood out with 53 and Imtiaz 17 runs. On behalf of President PPC XI, Zulfiqar and Nader dismissed one player each.
In response, the President PPC XI team scored 42 runs. Waqas Shah scored 24 runs and Khushal scored nine runs. On behalf of Chief Secretary XI, Khalid and Muhammad Adil dismissed one player each.
