An import meeting held here on Thursday with SSP Operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi in the chair, reviewed crimes ratio and police action against anti-social elements.
A meeting was held at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines which was attended by SPDOs, and other high ups of the police, said a handout.
The forum decided to take full action against criminals, mafia, gamblers, drug dealers, and anti-social elements, criminals wanted in serious crimes, miscreants and those showing weapons.
SSP Operations Kashif Aftab said that investigations and inquiries of the pending cases should be completed in stipulated period of time.
Mr Abbasi during the meeting strictly directed to adopt a comprehensive strategy against the criminals involved in street crimes and the habitual criminals released from prisons and their facilitators.
He also directed to take more effective actions against the elements involved, including encroachment group, forgery and to deal with the elements occupying valuable land and plots by creating fake documents with iron hands, so as to ensure the provision of peaceful environment to the citizens.
Strict checking by conducting snap checking and blockades at important and sensitive places including all entry and exit routes, as well as by directing to increase the patrolling of Mobile Patrol, Ababil Squad, City Patrol and double riding.
Anti-social elements and criminals including vehicles with black glasses, display of arms should be stopped, the SSP operations further said that the oppressed citizens should not be harassed unnecessarily during the blockades and their services should be provided.
During the meeting chaired by SSP Operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi directed to make the security of police stations and outposts more effective.
