PESHAWAR
District Police Officer Hangu, Nisar Ahmad on Monday said that First Information Report (FIR) has been registered against a 14 members gang involved in preparation of fake computerized national identity cards (CNIC) for illegal Afghans immigrants.
Addressing a press conference, he said a village secretary and NADRA official among six members of the gang was arrested.
He said raids were being conducted for the arrest of remaining eight accused.
He said the gang was getting Rs9lac for issuance of single Pakistani CNIC for an Afghan national.
The DPO said the case was registered against the accused under foreign act.
