Blind murder case solved, prime suspect arrested

Faqirbad Police have unraveled the mystery behind the murder of newlywed person, thus resolving a case that had stirred significant public interest in the provincial capital.
On November 11, the bridegroom Adnan was killed by some unidentified attackers while taking the procession of his marriage on Charasadda Road in Peshawar.
CCPO Syed Ashfaq Anwar and SSP Operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi took strict notice of the incident and formed a special team under the supervision of SP Faqirabad Division Osama Amin Cheema.
The team traced the prime suspects Jalal and bridal, daughter of Jehangir, resident of Pishtakhara and Charsadda road.
Police investigation revealed that the bridal, daughter of Jehangir was in love affairs with the accused Jalal and wanted to kill him.
Police said that the arrest was made after a comprehensive investigation conducted by designated team which carried out investigation on the technical basis of geo-tagging, geo-fencing of the area as well as the data of continuously used mobile phone numbers.
During the investigation on technical grounds, the accused Jalal were arrested.
SSP Operations Peshawar said that police are taking all possible measures to eliminate crimes, the murder of Adnan was a challenge for police and investigation team but the prime accused was held within 48 hours.
