Allama Iqbal’s philosophy guides Pakistan’s future: Amir Muqam

Federal Minister and President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engr Amir Muqam, has paid tribute to Allama Muhammad Iqbal saying Iqbal’s philosophy continues to provide effective and enduring guidance for a bright and stable future for Pakistan.
On the occasion of the 88th death anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Muqam, noted that Iqbal gave the Muslim Ummah a new direction through revolutionary concepts such as selfhood, moral strength, intellectual freedom, and perseverance, said a press release.
Muqam added that, in Iqbal’s view, education is not merely a means to secure employment but a comprehensive process that nurtures a person’s mental, moral, and spiritual development.
He emphasized that character building, responsibility, and purpose-driven education are the fundamental needs of today’s educational and social system.
He said that knowledge must be used as a tool for character formation, awareness must be translated into responsibility, and skills must be employed to ensure societal progress.
Muqam said that this vision is essential for building a strong, independent, and progressive Pakistan.
Concluding his message on Iqbal Day, he reaffirmed the commitment to building a Pakistan that is prosperous and stable, grounded in knowledge, high moral character, and capable youth.
