LAHORE: Aga Khan Foundation’s (AKF) Head of Heritage Mr. Luis Monrel called on Chief Minister Punjab Muhsin Naqvi on Friday and discussed ongoing projects for conservation and restoration of historical and ancient buildings and places. In the meeting, the Chief Minister said that efforts are being made to restore historical buildings and places to their original condition across Punjab. The CM further said that support of Agha Khan Foundation for the restoration and improvement of antiquities in Lahore is commendable. Other historical buildings including Shalamar Bagh and Jahangir’s Tomb are being restored by the Walled City Authority, Mohsen Naqvi said. DNA
