SSP Operations Peshawar Kashif Aftab Abbasi on Tuesday inspected the blast site on Warsak Road near Machni Gate and also visited the hospital to enquire about the injured.
On this occasion, SP Warsak Muhammad Arshad Khan and other police officers were also present.
SSP Operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi made a detailed review of the crime scene and later also visited the injured under treatment at LRH Hospital.
He met the relatives of the injured and also discussed with the doctors regarding the treatment.
A massive investigation is underway with all law enforcement agencies related to the incident, SSP Operations Kashif Aftab Abbasi added.
The anti-national elements involved in the incident will be brought to justice, he said.
