Faiq urges ECP to issue a code of conduct for election

PESHAWAR: Muhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party urged the Election Commission of Pakistan to issue code of conduct for the election to run political workers freely mass contact campaign. Shah while addressing the partys corner meeting/mass contact campaign here on Tuesday stressed the reforms are indispensable for transparent, fair and credible elections to lead state and economy toward sustainability. He also emphasised it is imperative to halt the way of thieves, extra-ordinary use of wealth and pressure in the electoral process. He asked people to come forward and block the way of thieves in the country’s politics. Our topmost priority is to ensure public participation in power and to bring justice, He urged people to look to new parties and manifestos and reject political goons with power of their vote. Similarly, he urged the Election Commission to ensure an equitable chance on national television to disseminate political parties’ manifestos and programs in an affluent manner. So that people would quell out from politics based on personalities and families and include them in the national mainstream, he added. Our Correspondent
While congratulating the participants of the election and mass contact campaign throughout the country, Shah said the day of accountability of political occupant groups is drawing near, whereas the echo of authority and justice will raise from every house and no one will stop this movement.
Faiq said candidates were appearing in an efficient way from all four provinces.
He added ATP manifesto and justice will emerge by becoming awareness in every house.
The party leader called those people who snatched authority and set in large palaces and drawing rooms as cruel and anti-people, adding they were blackmailing people by depriving them from all facilities.
Shah said his party is giving direct authority wherein every person will reserve the right to ask about rights, justice and facilities and they will be frontline and no one will become slave of anyone.
The country will put on a path of sustainable progress and economic growth by relying on indigenous resources, he concluded.
Shah said authority has been given to candidates in all districts of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
