An important meeting held here on Tuesday with Chief Traffic Officer Dr. Zahidullah in the chair, reviewed traffic management plan in Peshawar.
Senior traffic police officers, SP Headquarters Shazia Shahid, DSPPs participated.
Traffic police chief Dr. Zahidullah was briefed about actions against encroachment mafia, no parking zone, helmets, seat belts, one-wheeling, unregistered motorcycles and other campaigns
Dr. Zahidullah expressed his satisfaction and said that City Traffic Police Peshawar should use all capabilities to ensure uninterrupted travel facilities to the citizens and any negligence in this regard.
CTO Peshawar said that the traffic officers and wardens should continue operations against the encroachment mafia on a daily basis so that the encroachments can be eliminated from the entire city and the citizens do not face any kind of problems.
He further said that the business community should continue to cooperate with the staff of City Traffic Police Peshawar in the beautification of the city and the elimination of encroachments and the encroachment mafia should voluntarily eliminate the encroachments so that their valuables are not lost during the operation.
He directed the officers to speed up the campaigns launched by the City Traffic Police Peshawar and to take strict legal action against those who violate the traffic rules and directed them not to take any action in this regard.
He said that any kind of negligence in implementing the traffic rules and keeping the traffic system running in the city without interruption will not be tolerated while action will be taken against those who are negligent.
