The elections were held in a peaceful atmosphere under the supervision of Election Commission Shahid Khan and Imtiaz Ahmed, in which there was a sharp contest between Abdul Ahad Hoti Panel and Tamreez Panel. General Secretary Jhangir Khan won by getting 25 votes, while the competitor Tamrez panel got 19 votes.
Both panels acknowledged the results and declared the election process transparent and paid tribute to the supervising Election Commission for conducting the elections in a peaceful environment.
On the occasion, the newly elected president and general secretary vowed to jointly solve the issues of the field staff on basic priorities and provincial president Niaz Ali Khan expressed full confidence in general secretary Bakhtzada and the cabinet and announced to stand by their side.
