Islamabad: Important progress has come to fore in contempt of Election Commission (EC) and Chief Election Commissioner matter. Election Commission (EC) has announced reserved judgment regarding trial in Adiala Jail. Decision was read out by Deputy Director of Law Saima Janjua. According to details, EC has approved to have trial of Founder Chairman PTI and Fawad Chaudhary in Adiala Jail. Hearing will be held in Adiala Jail on 13 December. In the decision, Interior Ministry has been directed to prepare administrative report and submit it in EC within 2 days. EC decided on trial after the opinion of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Law. Proceeding of indictment against Founder PTI and Fawad Chaudhry will be held in Adiala Jail. It should be remembered that proceedings of contempt of EC is underway against Founder PTI and Fawad Chaudhry. Online
