The recent conflict between Israel and Palestine has taken a dangerous turn and more than 10,000 innocent and defenseless Palestinian civilians have fallen victim to Israeli terrorism. The actions of Zionist terrorists have reached the population. Even the hospital is being hit by missiles. The whole world is a silent spectator and no one is ready to speak. Many people suffer from this misunderstanding about Israel, that the real reason to oppose Israel is a conflict between Islam and Judaism. This is a complete misunderstanding. Just as there is no conflict between Islam and Christianity as religions, there is no conflict between Islam and Judaism. Israel’s entire existence was planned by “Mother of Democracy and Secularism – Britain”, which was erected in the name of religion, although Zionism is a purely political struggle. Consider this from the fact that many Jewish sects, including ultra-Orthodox Jews, strongly oppose the formation of the Israeli state based on Zionism. Every day, there are protests from various Jewish sects against Israel, with some using arguments from the Torah to disprove Israel’s existence. Israel’s first Prime Minister, David Ben Gurion, was himself an atheist who advocated practicing Judaism merely as a cultural tradition.
Therefore, the fight against Zionism is not only fought by the Muslims, but also by the Jews themselves in addition to the Christians. It is like ISIS taking over a country and calling it Islamic State. Will the West give us arguments that let’s establish diplomatic relations with ISIS now that it has become a reality? Everyone knew that they all were united against the “Islamic” government of the Taliban in Afghanistan. There, instead of advising us to establish diplomatic relations, they carried out an operation and left Afghanistan in shambles. Has the West ever accepted that the Taliban is a reality? Despite having to negotiate with it.
Another common misconception about Israel is that its residents are very prosperous and that it is a highly developed country. It is true that it has progressed scientifically but how was this “magical” progress possible without the blessings of America and Britain? If these parents take their hands off the head of their “Illegitimate Son” today, Israel will invade the land. Israel’s past election issues are also in front of you. The society there has become divided and has reached such a point that it is becoming very difficult to maintain a political and social balance among them.
According to a report by the famous Israeli newspaper “Haaretz”, Jews who emigrated from Israel to settle there are returning to their countries in large numbers. As of 2015, 720,000 disillusioned Jews who were not born there but immigrated have left Israel. According to a 2017 report, a record 16,700 Jews left Israel between 2011-2017. According to Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics, 557,000 – 593,000 Israelis currently reside outside of Israel. They do not yet include those who were born there. This is the largest reverse migration in history. Perhaps the only one of its kind. (Excluding the Hijra Movement of India.)
According to another report by “Haaretz”, major left-wing activists and scholars are disillusioned with the policies and society there and are leaving Israel in large numbers to return to their home countries due to threats and harassment. According to the “Midgam” Research Institute report, 27% of residents want to leave Israel but are unable to because of limited resources and would leave Israel immediately if given the chance. Is it a developed country? Are the people there as happy as we think they are?
Apart from this, this issue is related to humanity, it is also a very complex matter from a religious point of view. It is very stupid to connect it only with Arab politics. Whatever the Arab monarchies continue to do, they can never become a frame of reference for us. This is the case of Qibla 1 Bait al-Maqdis. When Hazrat Umar bin Khattab (RA) conquered this area, its importance can be estimated from the fact that Jews in particular were given open permission to worship in Bait al-Maqdis. Today, Israel does not allow Palestinian Muslims to enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque to worship. If Bait al-Maqdis is not our problem, then what is our army doing in Saudi Arabia? Why Makkah and Madinah are not just the problems of Saudis?
Moreover, the whole plan of Israel is so cowardly, unnatural, dangerous, horrible and prejudiced that it has no example in history. Gather the Jews from all over the world and push the Palestinians out of their own land and let the outsiders into their homes. Why is a humanist unable to speak here? Have boils on the tongue? Before teaching to recognize Israel, please tell us that you have come to terms with all these atrocities yourself and have thrown your Humanism into a trash can.
And then there are those who bear a grudge against Pakistan every year. live here and complain against its existence all the time. They do not care about the existence of Pakistan because it is a religious state and it divided India in the name of religion. But these will pile up arguments in favor of “Zionist Israel” created in the name of religion. They will tell us that if we do not establish diplomatic relations with Israel, Pakistan will become one. It will stand alone in the international community. What kind of hypocrisy is it that those who feel pained by the existence of Pakistan till today give us long lectures on establishing relations with Israel?
Even today many activists argue that reconciliation with Israel is in Pakistan’s interest – we fail to understand why this dead issue is brought up again and again. There is no pressure on us from the international community and we are not facing any kind of threat. What is the benefit that is not coming to our fortunes without establishing diplomatic relations with Israel and our fortunes are flourishing? What kind of damage are we suffering that can only be cured by Israel? What key does Israel have that can’t solve its own problems but has the ability to solve our problems in the blink of an eye? Are all the remaining work topics finished?
As a Pakistani, we are proud that even today we do not recognize the state built on this illegal occupation. The world of Islam has to get out of the misconception that Israel cannot be stopped. it is necessary to unite and propagate a common narrative. There is also a practical effort. Otherwise the dead bodies are being picked up every day. I pray to Allah to help Palestine and help the world of Islam and unite them.
