He must have gained confidence from the second innings of the Melbourne Test. It’s not just the runs to watch, it’s also to see how the quality bowling is going, hopefully Babar will play a big innings in the Sydney Test.
“It’s a fact that the workload creates fitness issues,” said Shan Masood, our key player for 3 years.
They have been playing all formats of cricket since, 2 World Cups were held in three years, Test championships are also happening, then there was no rest due to leagues and PSL.
He said that Mohammad Rizwan got some rest, he got a chance to prepare, decisions have to be taken for the future, gave chance to Khurram Shahzad and Aamir Jamal while Mir Hamza returned.
Shan Masood said that domestic performers will have to be given opportunities in other fields as well, with the arrival of new players, important players will get a chance to rest.
He said that many lessons were learned in Melbourne Test, we will learn from mistakes, the good thing is that the team knew, our last two three players got out on short pitch balls while the rest of the batsmen played short pitch balls well.
Shan Masood further said that irresponsibility is a harsh word, to get something in life you have to take risks, sometimes you will fail and sometimes you will make mistakes.
He further said that the captain has to stand up for his player first, keep the team atmosphere good as there are 11 out of 18 to choose from.
