ISLAMABAD: Decision has been reserved on appeals of Awab Alvi son of president Arif Alvi and PTI leader Khurram Sher Zaman. Appeal plea of PTI leader Aslam Khan against the decision of Returning Officer (RO) has been accepted. The appeal plea of Khurram Sher Zaman against the rejection of his nomination papers from NA-241 came up for hearing Saturday. Counsel for appellant said nomination papers of Khurram Sher Zaman have been rejected Returning Officer (RO) has said he is not Sadiq and Ameen. The counsel said how can RO declare any person Sadiq and Ameen. Election commission told private ceremony was held in governor house. The counsel for Awab Alvi said the allegation for holding private ceremony in governor house is not correct. Online
