Governor Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Kakar on Monday said that a number of seats reserved for students of Balochistan in educational institutions of other provinces has been increased to enhance higher education in the area.
Governor in a meeting with Chief Executive Officer of Professional Education Foundation Javed Farooqui, at Governor House Quetta said that due to our strong commitment and struggle, the quality of education in the province has been improved gradually, said a news release issued here.
He said that the purpose of increasing reserved seats for students of Balochistan in other educational institutions of provinces, was to provide quality and higher education to youth.
He further stated that there is a need to remove flaws in the educational system. As a result of joint efforts of all responsible and relevant authorities, he said achievements and success have been made in the education field.
Abdul Wali Kakar said, we are fully aware of the responsibilities in the educational sector of the province, adding that it is essential to bring the province of Balochistan at par with other provinces of Pakistan in the educational sector.
