Fake bank accounts case
KARACHI
Banking Court has issued notice to former president Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur in fake bank accounts case. Banking court Karachi took up for hearing fake accounts case against former president Asif Ali Zardari Tuesday. Farooq H Naik appeared in the court.
Farooq H Naik told the court the accused who were issued notices have appeared in the court. But notices were not issued to Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur. The court after hearing the arguments of Farooq H Naik issued notices to Asif Ali Zardari and others for February 19.
It is pertinent to mention here that fake bank accounts case was shifted to Karachi from Islamabad in August last year.
Earlier the case was shifted from Karachi to NAB court Islamabad in 2019.
4 accused including Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur are nominated in fake bank accounts case. They are facing charges of money laundering and others. One accused Anwar Majid Malik who is nominated in this case is outside the country.
