Dr. Barkhna Jameel, President of the KMU Employees Association, has initiated legal proceedings against Dean Prof. Dr. Mahmood Aurangzeb. The action is in response to alleged defamation arising from inappropriate language and false accusations leveled during a recent meeting.
Dr. Jameel contends that Dean Mehmood Aurangzeb, in his official capacity, utilized highly objectionable language and engaged in inappropriate actions, such as creating caricatures and insinuating misconduct.
These actions are claimed to have caused significant harm to both Dr. Brekhna Jameel’s personal and professional reputation.
In light of these allegations, Dr. Jameel has issued a legal notice through Advocate Neelam, a distinguished legal professional and Advocate Senior Vice President
Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan. The notice demands a public apology from Dean Aurangzeb within a specified timeframe of 14 days. Failure to comply with this request may result in legal and criminal action, seeking damages totaling PKR 2 billion, representing the perceived harm caused to Dr. Jameel’s reputation.
Dr. Brekhna Jameel emphasizes the severity of the allegations, asserting that they have inflicted irreparable damage to her pristine record.
