KP-CS visits ‘Pahal’ helpline 911 centre in Peshawar

Chief Secretary KP Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry visited the Pahal Helpline 911 Center currently operational under the provincial home and tribal affair department.
He also inspected the various sections of the center in detail.
On this occasion, advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on health Dr Riaz Anwar, secretary relief Inayatullah Wasim and other high ups were also present.
KP-CS was given a detailed briefing about the facilities and services provided in the helpline in KP, additional secretary home and tribal affair department said that emergency, rescue, police, national highway and motorway police and other important helplines will be connected with the Pahal helpline.
Through the platform, people are being provided with easy access to all help lines, while in future social welfare, tourism and cyber crime helplines will also be linked with the initiative helpline.
On this occasion, the CS Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry directed the concerned officers to connect the initiative helpline with all the other help lines operating in the province, for this purpose, to take the help of modern technology and softwares to provide immediate response to the public in emergency situations.
