Sindh High Court (SHC) has declared police steps in connection with recovery of missing persons non serious.
The petitions regarding recovery of missing persons came up for hearing before two members bench of SHC comprising justice Naimat Ullah Phulpotu and Justice Khadim Hussain Tunio Wednesday.
Police investigation officer informed the court about the steps taken for recovery of missing persons.
The court remarked during the hearing of the case that police steps for recovery of missing persons are not serious. The attitude of police is sorrowful.
The investigation officer told the court the citizen has not been taken into custody by any one. He himself is missing. The missing citizen was worker of political party and he had personal enmity too.
The court questioned how you came to know he has gone missing on his own. The citizen is missing since 2015, You are saying he has gone any where on his own. Missing person has not been traced and how the final opinion was established he has gone on his own. Action should be taken against you on giving such statements. If the citizen escapes on his own then it is more easy to trace him.
