Trials of May 9 cases will be held in jail. 367 accused including Imran Khan have been summoned in Adiala jail.
Notification regarding jail trial of cases pertaining to May 9 siege and arson, riots has been issued. The accused have been summoned in Adiala jail. According to media reports Sadaqat Abbasi, Umar Tanvir Butt and Wasim Qayyum Abbasi have become approvers. They have recorded their statements under 364.
The judicial remand of Sheikh Rashid has been extended upto February 6.
Order has been issued to all persons accused in May 9 incident to come to Adiala jail from May 6 in connection with jail trial.
The hearing of May 9 cases against PTI founder and Shah Mehmood Qureshi will also take place in Adiala jail.
Notices of jail trial have been issued to SHOs and investigation officers of all police stations. Copies will be distributed among the accused in connection with indictment of cases on February 6.
Judge Malik Ijaz Asif of Anti Terrorism Court will hear the cases.
