Interim Caretaker provincial minister for Finance, Revenue, Excise and Narcotics Control Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ahmad Rasool Bangash inaugurated various development projects under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cities Improvement Program (KPCIP) in Kohat district.
A press release issued here on Thursday stated that the provincial caretaker minister Ahmad Rasool Bangash inaugurated sewerage treatment plant, water supply system and Milam Women Business Development Centre, which are being constructed in KDA.
The minister paid a visit to sites of these mega development projects and examined ongoing development work.
During the minister’ visit, the Water and Sanitation Service Company Kohat (WSSCK) CEO Arif Rauf briefed comprehensively about the ongoing development projects. Arif Rauf on occasion raised the company’ financial issues and said that tehsil municipal administration Kohat had not given salaries of two month of their staff to WSSCK, due which the institute and TMA is being faced with financial constraints.
While speaking on the occasion, the Minister praised efforts of WSSCK in development of Kohat city and hoped the institute will continue to utilize all energies for the uplift of the city.
On the occasion, the minister also planted a sampling in circuit house Kohat.
The WSSCK CEO Arif Rauf presented a crest as memento to the Minister Ahmad Rasool Bangash.
On the occasion, Advisor Waqas Paracha, Director Technical Mian Shakeelur Rehman, Chief Engineer Mian Mohsin Gul, Deputy General Manager Afif, Director Gender Menhaaz Iftikhar, Gender Coordinator Shela Gul, Resident Engineers Mian Yaqoob and Fasiullah.
