PESHAWAR
Muhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party while commenting about the outcome of election 2024, said that it is a dire need of the hour that all parties should accept election results and form a government to solve the issues.
Chairing a meeting here at the party central secretariat on Friday, Shah said the country cannot afford anymore crisis situations.
He urged political parties to accept election results to remove uncertainty and to strengthen democracy and address public issues.
The party leader said poor people are erasing owing to rising inflation, injustice, poverty, lawlessness and unemployment.
He stressed that concrete steps should be taken to put the country on a path of sustainable progress.
According to unofficial results, independents, which have once again opened the door for those who previously remained active buying and selling business, the ATP chief remarked.
He added the ‘sale’ of independent winners has begun and their ‘buyers’ have reached Islamabad.
The ATP chairman said elections have become a tradition of wealth, pressure, rigging and use of power.
He made these results won’t bring political stability in the country.
Faiq lauded the central and provincial interim governments, election commission and law enforcement agencies relevant for smooth conduct of election processes across the country.
However, he condemned the occurrence of unpleasant incidents, clashes between political workers and mismanagement.
Shah once again demanded the formation of a joint board of wisdom and honesty (BWH) in which parliament, judiciary, military, administration, media, traders and industrialists, think tanks along with public segments, social activists and young people.
He said the joint board would only remove the corruption, politics-based on personality and personal interests and tug of war for gaining power.
The ATP chief said the board will frame concrete policies and would ensure their implementation and hold accountability of all.
In the prevailing scenario, he noted that the whole system, economy and society have adversely affected, which would put them in the right direction with unified efforts and under a single platform.
