LAHORE: Accountability Court (AC) has approved one day exemption plea of former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Hamza Shahbaz from attendance in Ramzan Sugar Mills reference. Ramzan sugar mills reference against Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz came up for hearing in AC Lahore Tuesday. The court approved petition filed by Hamza Shehbaz seeking exemption from attendance for one day. The lawyers of Hamza Shehbaz had filed exemption plea for one day. Arguments on the plea for permanent exemption from attendance in the court in respect of Hamza Shehbaz will be offered on next hearing. In place of PM Shehbaz Sharif , his representative Anwar Hussain appeared in the court. The court adjourned hearing of the case till April 19.
