Islamabad: Hackers have become active to steal sensitive information of federal ministries and divisions, efforts are being made to obtain information of ministries and divisions through fake e-mails. According to media reports, the Cabinet Division has sent a letter to all federal ministries and divisions and warned them in this regard. According to the post, fake e-mails known as ‘JS Code’ are circulating, dangerous ‘payloads’ are attached to the fake e-mails, these fake e-mails compromise the network or system security of the ministries. According to the sources, in the letter, the ministries and divisions are advised to adopt a cautious attitude when receiving unknown e-mails, to scrutinize the e-mails requesting important information and to verify the received e-mail address and domain in advance.
