PESHAWAR
Chairman and founder of the Amun Taraqqi Party Muhammad Faiq Shah suggested economic experts and all segments should be given representation in the Economic council.
Talking to a group of reporters here on Sunday, Mr Shah said the economy couldn’t be put in the right direction by inclusion of irrelevant people in the economic council.
Has the PM and his team given any policy for investment, trade and industrial growth? He said the country is presently confronted with various issues.
Instead of running the government through social media platforms like twitter and tick tok, Shah emphasised serious measures to provide relief to inflation stricken people.
While keeping in view the current scenario, he stressed to outline a comprehensive plan for overcoming the judicial, political and economic crisis, wherein a joint policy would come for merit and reforms.
Similarly, he called upon the government to focus on export, investment and trade instead of imposing lavish taxes on masses.
Likewise, he said timely completion of all dams to be ensured to fulfill energy needs.
Expressing grave concern over deteriorating law and order situations, Mr Shah said a vibrant security plan should be crafted as enemies are creating hurdles in the country’s progress.
He added upgraded and foolproof security steps are the dire need of the hour.
Faiq said the country should get rid from politics-based personality and government so that implementation would be ensured on manifesto and policy.
The party leader suggested the president and prime minister should give a uniform economic, education and health policy for the entire country in order to produce tangible results of all initiatives.
He noted the government is still busy in distribution of offices among their favorites and coalition partners.
Shah said filling up space by such blue-eyed people is unbearable for the country.
He said the current tendency would continue, so the consequences would come dire.
This is the last chance for ruling political parties to think about people; if not do so then, there would be a complete wash out, he added.
Faiq emphasized there must be prioritization of Pakistan and people by shunning gain of cheap fame, power and survival of personality.
He reminded that ATP is giving a reforms agenda and plan timely, which should be implemented with true spirit.
