DC revises school timings for public, private schools amid heatwave

LARKANA: After the heatwave alert was issued by the Sindh Provincial Disaster Management Authority, Deputy Commissioner Jacobabad and Chairman of the District Disaster Management Committee Zahoor Ali Murri changed the timing of all public and private schools in Jacobabad district, and issued notification. After the heat in Jacobabad district, Deputy Commissioner of Jacobabad and Chairman of District Disaster Management Committee Zahoor Ali Murri has changed the school timings in view of the difficulties of children and teachers so that the innocent children and teachers can be protected from the heat. The notification issued by Deputy Commissioner Jacobabad and District Disaster Management Committee Chairman Zahoor Ali Marri said that in view of the expected threat of heatwave from May 22 to May 27, 2024, all public and private schools in Jacobabad will remain closed. The car has been replaced, with schools opening from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday through Thursday and Saturday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday. After issuing such a notification, Deputy Commissioner Jacobabad Zahoor Ali Murri has also issued instructions to the concerned officials of the education department to take precautionary measures to avoid heat inside the schools.
