Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry has said those who are leading PTI don’t want Imran Khan comes out of jail because the day he comes out then their protocol and interference in party will end.
“The present leadership fears that lest Asad Umar, Fawad Chaudhry, Ali Zaidi and Imran Ismail should return to party, he said this in an interview with foreign news agency here Wednesday.
He held the present leadership did not bother to even ask what happened with Shireen Mazari, Musarrat Jamshed Cheema, Usman Dar and Malaika Bokhari.
He added “ he was subjected to worst torture during his detention. Islamabad Police handed over him to another institution. The personnel of this institution made videos of the violence and sent these videos to the higher authorities. I was subjected to electric shocks.
He went on to say it was the biggest mistake of Imran Khan to sever connections with army. This led to increase misconceptions which prevailed between government and establishment .
Had central leadership of PTI and Imran Khan remained in contact with army then the misconceptions perhaps would not have reached this stage.
There was some one who was telling Imran Khan they will kill you and on the other hand he was telling military leadership Imran Khan would not spare them.
When contact remained no more and leaders like us became disconnected then the misperceptions rose.
He said there is no clash between Imran Khan and army. However bitterness exists. The both sides can remove them through talks by going back step by step.
The army will have to take first step, he remarked. This step can be taken by withdrawing case of nikah during iddat against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
They should first of all withdraw iddat case tomorrow and regret be extended to Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
Fawad Chaudhry said he left PTI at behest of Imran Khan. However he was forcibly taken from Islamabad to Lahore for joining Istehkam Pakistan Party. No question was asked from him during detention. Only he was subjected to torture.
Following her release after first arrest, Imran Khan telephoned him and asked was I subjected to torture. He replied he was tortured enormously.
Later he asked from Imran Khan through party messenger what should he do.
Imran Khan said so much enormous violence cannot be tolerated. I should part ways with party for some time.
The serving personnel used to announce on social media platform X regarding separation from party. These personnel ran his account during all his detention period.
He said Ali Zaidi, Imran Ismail and no one among them wanted to join Istehkam Pakistan party. We were forcibly taken by sahiban. They first took us from Islamabad to Lahore and then took us to IPP convention.
He underlined he could not even think that he would be subjected to such bestial violence and will be taken away from electoral politics forcibly due to his old relations with army
Sheikh Rashid telephoned him saying if he and I are against army then who is supporter of army in the country.
