District administration crackdown continue

PESHAWAR: In the light of the orders of the provincial government, the operations of the district administration of Peshawar continued. During four days, many shopkeepers were arrested for selling high-priced, low-weight bread and non-existence of an official price list, an official of the district administration said. District Administration Peshawar inspected the markets in Hayatabad, Charsadda Road, Dalazak Road, GT Road, Circular Road, Ramdas, Inner City Markets, University Road and other areas. During operations, 146 shopkeepers were arrested for high-priced goods and absence of official price list, district administration said. The arrested shopkeepers include butchers, bakers, vegetable and fruit sellers and others, district administration said. APP
