KP govt has lost its writ, says Faiq

Chairman, Amun Taraqqi Party Muhammad Faiq Shah questioned security arrangements across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) after synchronized terrorists’ attacks in the province.
On Tuesday, Mr Shah addressing a congregation of notables, elders and youth in Mardan district of KP expressed dismay over government’s inaction to maintain law and order situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The party leader said the security situation has become fragile in the province as the government has lost its writ and inability to bring calm and stability.
He asked the Chief Minister and IGP Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to step down immediately.
The ATP central leader Ishtiaq Elahi and central Information Secretary Awais Khan and others were present in the event.
The host Hamza Khan and legal advisor Noor Noushad praised ATP chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah and the party’s ongoing struggle.
Shah while addressing the gathering, said that the government has lost its writ in many districts of K-P.
He said the security situation has become fragile while mismanagement was at peak and extortion has ruined the whole system.
The party leader made it clear that the situation cannot be improved until economic and political stability.
He said ATP is the lone political force which will give leadership in the hands of youths.
He asked youth to come forward and take over the country’s politics and social system.
Faiq criticized those who ruled over KP for many years, and have only ruined the entire infrastructure.
He said commitments were made of providing shelter/houses, jobs and justice, but people have left in lurch and helpless.
The ATP chief said the police and health system was run on auto mode.
He said unrest and anarchy in the K-P province and a strong government and administration to deal with the situation.
He called Chief Minister KP as only a ‘Dhamki’ Khan.
