The head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan Maulana Fazlur Rehman along with a delegation met Hamas leader Khalid Mashal on Saturday and condoled the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh on behalf of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam and the people of Pakistan.
Demonstrations against Israel were held across the country on the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh. JUI also presented resolutions in the National Assembly, Senate, KP and Balochistan Assembly.
During the meeting, JUI leader said that the entire Islamic world is saddened by the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, it is the duty of Muslims to liberate the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Zionist.
JUI and the entire Pakistani nation are with them in their struggle for freedom. May Allah grant patience to the bereaved families.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the morale of Hamas leaders was very high, the Palestinian people and the Muslim Ummah will not give up on the freedom of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestine.
Along with Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Allama Rashid Mahmood Soomro and Mufti Abrar Ahmed were also included in the delegation.
