Declaring the arrest of Gen (Retd) Faiz Hameed a miracle , deputy Prime Minister (PM) Ishaq Dar has said such thing have happened for the first time.
I was also among the affectees of Gen (Retd) Faiz Hameed. Gen (Retd) Faiaz had apologized to me in the mid of October, he said this while talking to journalists in Parliament house Friday. The dirty politics has reduced the country to miserable condition, he alarmed.
The 24th world economy has lowered to 47th position due to dharnas and dirty politics, he regretted.
We paid heavy cost and still we are paying, he added.
To a question he said joint secretary of Senate took his family with him during visit to IPU. Wife and children of joint secretary took political asylum.
He observed that foreign office will not provide any facility to officers of parliament with reference to visa in coming days. The visa facility will continue to be provided to members of national assembly and members of Senate. Facility will be provided to families of members of parliament but not to friends and mohalla walas.
Due to restrictions on passport thousands of Pakistanis could not return to Pakistan, he stated.
