PESHAWAR
Pakistan Flour Mills Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (PFMA-KP) renewed its pledge to support the Businessman Forum in upcoming Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry elections.
The announcement was made by PFMA-KP Group leader Muhammad Naeem Butt, chairman Haji Muhammad Iqbal, senior leader and office bearers during dinner hosted by the association in honour of BF leader former senator Ilyas Ahmad Bilour, leaders and members of business community here at local hotel, according to a statement here on Saturday.
The BF leader Ilyas Ahmad Bilour was chief guest of the event.
SCCI president Fuad Ishaq, senior vice president Sanaullah Khan, vice president Ejaz Khan Afridi, former FPCCI president Ghazanfar Bilour, Anjuman E Tajran President for Lifetime Haji Muhammad Afzal, former president SCCI Faiz Muhammad Faizi, former SVP Ziaul Haq Sarhadi, Imran Khan Mohmand, former vice presidents Abdul Jalil Jan, Malik Niaz Awan, Muhammad Anees Ashraf, Shuja Muhammad, Fresh Fruit Market President Haji Alaf Jan, executive committee members Pervez Khattak, Ghulam Hussain, Naeem Qasmi, Fazal Muqeem, Muhammad Ismail Safi, Monawar Khurshid, Affaf Ali Khan, Industrialists Association Peshawar Ayub Zakori, Tajir Ittehad President Mujeebur Rehman, Tajir Insaf President Shahid Khan, Haji Naseer, Khalid Ayub, Rehman Gul, Habibullah Zahid, traders, industrialists and flour millers were present in a large number on the occasion.
Naeem Butt and Muhammad Iqbal addressed the participants and assured leadership of the Businessman Forum that the association always supported the forum and will continue its support in future as well.
Senior office bearers of the FPMA said Businessman Forum leader Ilyas Ahmad Bilour has always served the business community without any discrimination, which was visible before all.
Naeem Butt said BF has always taken effective steps regarding resolution of the flour mill industry issues and provided relief to the business community attached with this industry.
He claimed that BF will win a clean sweep in SCCI’ elections.
Fuad Ishaq in his speech on the occasion said under guidance and leadership of Businessman Forum leader former senator Ilyas Ahmad Bilour, all presidents had played a vital role in resolution of business community issues and gained full support of the community.
Furthermore, he said BF had also played an important role in resolution of issues related to GIDC, gas and provision of tax-exemption, five year fiscal relief package, along with other special incentives and facilities to the business community, which enlisted among remarkable achievements of the BF.
The SCCI chief commented on the IPPs agreement, stating that owing to wrong deals, the national economy has been put in a difficult situation.
He called upon the government and relevant institutions to revisit policies and make them business and trade friendly.
Fuad Ishaq said the business community has played an important role in economic development, prosperity and progress, therefore, they should be provided relief and facilitated at every level.
Earlier, speaking as chief guest on the occasion, former senator Ilyas Bilour said BF has believed in selfless services to the business community.
Today, the trust reposed by PFMA KP in the BF was a staunch evidence that this the only platform which can resolve the community issues, he added.
Bilour asked to vote for the Businessman Forum in SCCI’ election and make it victorious in order to continue selfless services to the business community under the forum platform.
