SHC summons travel history of missing persons from FIA

Sindh High Court (SHC) has sought travel history of missing citizens from FIA.
The petitions seeking recovery of over 15 missing persons came up for hearing before the court Thursday.
Father of a citizen who went missing from Malir area appeared in the court. He told the court he is making rounds of police stations and courts since last 11 years but justice has not been administered to him.
He told the court his son was coming to home from duty in 2011. He was kidnapped on the way to home. My son is still missing. Police have taken no steps so far.
The court after hearing the father of missing citizens remarked tell us what steps have been taken for recovery of citizens. The investigating officer told the court he is called in JITs but he does not come. Father of missing citizen told the court that he is not told about the JIT meeting. Even they don’t reply to my calls.
The court said to father of missing citizen they themselves will contact you when JIT is held now.
Police informed the court one citizen is missing from New Karachi, second from Awami Colony and other citizens are missing from different areas.
Police also told the court several JITs meetings and PTF sessions have been held in connection with recovery of citizens. The court while summoning travel history of missing persons from FIA and progress report from police on next hearing directed to continue sessions meetings of JITs and provincial task force.
The hearing of the case was adjourned till September 30.
