PESHAWAR: Saqib Jahan, PhD Scholar of the department of pharmacy, University of Swabi successfully defended his thesis. Dr Latif Ahmed, Associate Professor, and Assistant Supervisor, Dr. Abad Khan were his supervisors. In addition, the scholar’s thesis was sent to Prof Gu Khan Zengin of Selcuk University, Konya, Turkey, and Dr Faisal, of the American research institute Myers Squibb, for review. The title of the scholar’s research was “Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis of Preservatives and Antioxidants in OTC Medicines, Cosmetics and Other Processed Foods”.
