PESHAWAR: A youth in Rustam area of Mardan district shot dead his friend and later ended his own life with the same pistol, police informed on Monday. According to Rustam police, a man, Anwar Javed, resident of Chamdher Stop in his report told police that he sent his son, Rohail to the market to bring bread however, despite a prolonged wait Rohail did not return. He said he went to the market to inquire about his son where people told him that Rohail was taken by his friend, Ayaz. Later, he said, he came to know that his son Rohail was shot dead by his friend, Ayaz who too ended his life with the same people. Anwar Javed told police that the reason behind the killing was that Ayaz wanted friendship with his son Rohail and upon refusal he killed my son. In another incident in Gagro Banda of Rustam, a youth Nihar Ali was shot dead by the accused, Altaf over a petty verbal clash. Rustam police have registered both the cases and started investigation.
